About PedsList

Why it exists

When a child is diagnosed, a family has to assemble a care team (therapists, evaluators, schools, advocates) with no single map. The information exists, but it's scattered across state license files, federal registries and school report cards written for administrators. PedsList puts it in one place in plain language.

Who runs PedsList

PedsList is a for-profit company focused on data transparency: turning public records into tools parents can use. We earn money from optional paid features for providers and from practice software, never from selling school data or ranking schools for pay.

Editorial policy

• We only state what a public source or the provider supports, and we link the source. When data is missing or withheld, we say so rather than fill the gap.
• We don't rate or recommend individual therapists. Badges describe verifiable facts (license status, Early Intervention credential, NPI).
• Therapy explainers describe the evidence without recommending for or against an approach.
• Paid placement is labeled "Sponsored". Our one affiliated clinic is labeled and disclosed (see the methodology).
• Nothing on PedsList is medical or legal advice.

Corrections

Found an error? Providers can claim their page for free and correct it directly. For anything else, including school data, tell us below. We fix verified errors and note significant corrections on the methodology page.
